MegaNav

Overview

An advanced site navigation that supports drop-downs, full content width nav panels, sticky nav and more.

Installation & Activation

MegaNav can easily be downloaded from inside WordPress using Extend.

  1. Download the plugin from Extend. It will now appear in your Plugins tab.
  2. Click Plugins, and find your MegaNav plugin (titled PageLines Section MegaNav).
  3. Click Activate to be able to use the plugin inside your editor.
  4. Go to your PageLines Builder where you will now find MegaNav in the Navigation section.

Settings

As with all section, the MegaNav section includes the Standard Section Options such as padding/margin, background options and etc.

Logo
Add a logo image by either using the Upload option or selecting an image from the WordPress Media library. The logo is positioned to the left of the primary menu.

Logo Size / Height
Allows to manipulate the logo height by enter a numeric value. This option uses the pixel unit.

Select Menu
Select a WordPress menu you have created from the drop-down menu. The menu is positioned to the right of the MegaNav section.

Show Search?
Enables a search bar that is positioned to the right of the navigation, this is optional.

Make sticky on scroll?
The navigation will stick to the top on scroll. Note: since this breaks the page flow, "stickiness" can act strangely in many design situations.

Megamenus (multi column drop down)
Identify the index number of the navigation items you want to make megamenus. For example, first on left is 1, second from left is 2, etc... Add them in a comma separated list here.

Drop Down Left
For items towards the right of the screen you may want your drop-downs to the left. Enter the index of the items you would like to drop left here in a comma separated list.

Shortcode

The MegaNav section can be inserted into a page, post or widget using the shortcode below. This is used as a quick reference and we recommend including a unique ID.
