Display information easily with Boxes; quickly create columned boxes showcasing icons, images, or numbers for your visitors.

Installation & Activation

Boxes can easily be downloaded from inside WordPress using Extend.

  1. Download the plugin from Extend. It will now appear in your Plugins tab.
  2. Click Plugins, and find your Boxes plugin (titled PageLines Section Boxes).
  3. Click Activate to be able to use the plugin inside your editor.
  4. Go to your PageLines Builder where you will now find Boxes in the Content section.


As with all section, the Boxes section includes the Standard Section Options such as padding/margin, background options and etc.

Columns Per Box (12 Col Grid)
Control how PopThumb items are displayed, you can select between:

  • 2 of 12 Columns: Boxes will be displayed in six columns.
  • 3 of 12 Columns: Boxes will be displayed in four columns.
  • 4 of 12 Columns: Boxes will be displayed in three columns.
  • 6 of 12 Columns: Boxes will be displayed in two columns.
  • 12 of 12 Columns: Boxes will be displayed in one column.

Select iBox Media Type
Control the media type for boxes, you can select between:

  • Icons: Allows you to use icons from the Font Awesome library.
  • Counters: Allows you to display a numeric figure, using the Count Number (Counter Mode) option.
  • Images: Allows you to display an image.
  • Text Only, No Media: No media will be displayed, only text.

Select the iBox Media Location
Controls the media location in boxes, you can select between:

  • Media on Top: Media will be displayed above the Boxes text.
  • Media at Left: Media will be displayed to the left and text will be aligned to the right.

Enter text into the field, to add a title to the Boxes section. This is positioned above the Boxes.

Boxes Setup
The Boxes setup options are where you configure the individual Boxes items.

Add/Remove Boxes Items
To add additional Boxes items, click the +Add Item button. To remove, click the X icon.

Ordering Box Items
To re-order Boxes items, simply place the mouse cursor over the navicon and drag-and-drop to change the order of items. The Item name will automatically change to represent the order of the item e.g. item 3 moves into item 1, item 3 will rename to item 1.

Enter text into the field, to add a title to the Boxes item. This is positioned below the media type selected.

A large text field where you can insert an optional text to the slider item, a basic WYSIWYG is included providing options for formatting the slider text.

  • Bold, Italic, Underline
  • Select text alignment left, center or right
  • Control the tag that wrap the subheader, select between header tags <h1> to <h4> or <p> tag.

Toggle Raw Text, allows you to disable the built-in WYSIWYG and use raw text only.

Link (Optional)
Adds a link to the entire box body. Enter the URL for the address you wish the box to navigate to.

Icon (Icon Mode)
Select icons from the Font Awesome library to display when using the Icon media type.

Count Number (Counter Mode)
Enter your counter, this is only displayed when the Counter media type is used.

Box Image (Image Mode)
Add an image to the box by either using the Upload option or selecting an image from the WordPress Media library.

Icon/Count Color
Select via the built-in color picker, the default color to be used for the box icon/counter.

Add a class to the box item, this can be useful for adding individual styling on a per box item basis.


The Boxes section can be inserted into a page, post or widget using the shortcode below. This is used as a quick reference and we recommend including a unique ID.
