Jigoshop Integration eCommerce for PageLines
Installation Instructions
- Download Jigoshop
- Navigate to your WP-Admin & go to Plugins.
- Click Add New, click Upload and then choose the jigoshop.zip file you downloaded from the previous step.
- Activate the Plugin
- Still in WP-Admin, go to PageLines > Store > Plugins
- Click the Install button under the Jigoshop for PageLines plugin, then activate it.
Once you have completed these steps, it's time to learn about Jigoshop (if you have no previous knowledge). As a 3rd party plugin, PageLines does not provide official support for Jigoshop itself. However, the masters behind Jigoshop have a vast Knowledgebase for any questions on usability.
Jigoshop for PageLines Setup
To get started configuring your Jigoshop installation in PageLines, first go to the Pages menu option in WP-Admin. You will see here (Figure 1) that Jigoshop has created several new pages that contain shortcodes in them to display its content. Once you've assigned templates to the new pages, let's go into PageLines > Meta Setup and you will see a new menu item there called Product Archive. In this menu you can define the default content for the sections on Jigoshop pages (Figure 2 #1), the Layout (Figure 2 #2) and of course, your Individual Page Section Control (Figure 2 #3)
Now that we have this all settled, let's go one step further and create a Wordpress menu to use with your Jigoshop eCommerce shop in PageLines. This way, you can assign this menu (Figure 3) to a specific navigation bar or child navigation when on Jigoshop pages.
