The Pagelines Framework provides a robust solution for giving each WordPress special page its own unique layout and structure. Through the Special settings panel, you can change the settings for the Archive, Category, Tag, Author pages and more.

  5. Select the secondary navigation menu

Section Meta

As long as sections are active in the template setup, you can set the meta from the Special Page Meta Settings Panel:

  1. Choose the section from the Select Settings Panel
  2. Set the meta
    • For detailed documentation on meta settings for each section, see the documentation for each of those sections
    1. If you have a cloned section in your template (for example: "Boxes Section (Clone #1)" boxes or "Feature Meta (Clone #2)", you can also set the meta for those sections

Inactive Sections

If the section shows "Inactive":

  1. Click on the section under "Select Settings Panel"
  2. Click on "Inactive On Template"
    • This will take you to the Pagelines Templates Panel
  3. Under Select Template Area, select "Page Templates" or "Content Area" depending on where you would like to activate the section
  4. Under "Which type of page?" select the Special Page. (For this example the Archive Page)
  5. Drag & Drop to add/activate the section (See Template Setup for more details)
  6. Return to the Special Settings page to view the change. The section will now be active and meta settings can be set
