Hi,

Please can you advise if clicking on an image links to a larger view?

Many thanks,

@nphaskins Thanks for such a quick reply!  Is that still the case when using the NextGen gallery option??

Hi NP - is there a way to make the images in the carousel larger?

Hello.  Would it be possible to support NextGen gallery templates so that you can specify in metadata which template you want to use rather than the default?

Hi.

I need a offset post featured. Exist a possibility to implement this in the future?

Tks.

@finnes Sure, I just added this option for you and have deployed an update. Better Carousel is now at 1.0.1. You'll find the new option under the "Post Ordering" option title.

That would be excellent. How are the images entered? I don't mind it loading the featured image from page or post, but being able to link to the target landing page makes it far more useful for website design. Like a client or brands carried feature that leads to more info on products or projects.

@Air45 Better Carousel was built as a replacement for the Carousel in core, so it's going to link to pages and posts by default. Linking to another place is kinda outside the scope of this section, as it's setup to automatically link to posts and pages. Again, I can look into a "freedom mode" but may be better off as a completely separate product, because it would be confusing to a viewer to have some open pages, and some open links to other places outside of the site.

@nphaskins Confusing people wasn't the goal. Lets say the local tire store wanted to show the brands they carry on the home page. This is best done with a logo image linked to a page about sizes and prices on that brand. The logo might not be the desired featured image on the landing page. So it links to the page the image is on only? Or it can be linked to any page on the site?

Some screenshots of the admin area would be super helpful.

@nphaskins Sorry, didn't see them with right click to open in new tab. Thanks. Doesn't look like you can link to a page. Let me know when you add that function.

@Air45 There are screenshots of the admin. Two of them actually. If you have used the Carousel in core, then you'll know how to use this one. It uses the same exact logic, and operates in much the same manner.

Hi Nick,

About time someone did something about that carousel. Can the images be linked to any page on the site or somewhere else online?

@Air45 Hi! Currently it's setup similar to the Carousel found in core, in that it will show posts, and link to those. However, I'll look into a "freedom mode" where you can supply your own info. I'll look into this next week.
