The AnythingBox Section is a great extension of the default PageLines Box section that you know and love. Instead of using a custom post type you can now query any post type you like to display in a nice set of boxes. There are additional options also included for a section header and custom link to a category or search page of your choice.
Both the plugin and the developer were very easy to work with. After using the section plugin and really enjoying it I found I had a couple of special tweaks needed. Adam was fast to respond and made a quick update to the plugin that gave me the controls I needed and really increased the flexibility of the plugin.
Totally love this! Exactly what I needed to display my recent blog posts on my home page & was easy to install, customize, and use. I wish I could query specific pages to display, however, instead of just choosing "random"

I absolutely love this section! It displays my posts just the way I want. Instead of using the Special Recent Posts plugin in PageLines Boxes (and a TON of CSS), I can just use this section. Plus the configuration is insanely simple and straightforward. Adam has added so many options, I am easily able to display my posts exactly how I want. Thank you Adam for the perfect add-on!
This plugin doesn't work properly for me. Excerpts do not show and the "custom1" design with the thumbnails on top are misaligned. I've run a test on my demo server with all plugins turned off and it didn't resolve the issue. So if its not working on a barebones pagelines install, something is not right.

Bug: Anything boxes on Author page only shows author posts.
I put an anything boxes-section on top of the author page, and want it to show recent posts from a category.
But it will only show posts (ie boxes based on posts) from the author, so mostly it doesn't show anything (since the author still has no posts in the category).
I'm having the same problem with the small thumbnail size on new posts. Happened after upgrade to Wordpress 3.5.
This section is just what I've been needing. Quick question and I'm sure it's something I'm over looking. I've input a custom css class for a set of boxes, but it's not showing and I'm having trouble styling each set of boxes. Is there something I'm missing?
@MarshallsIrishP Hello, any insight on the question of bullet points? There are workarounds of sorts for boxes but being able to use the generic Wordpress bullet point function would be a boon indeed!

Adam great section just one thing I am getting a line saying "Array ( [0] => post )" at the top of my section, any thoughts?

And i got the answer very quickly:
