I'm looking for the easiest way to implement a checkout whereby a visitor clicks a download link in a POST, is directed to a form to collect contact information (to be sent to admin), and then redirected to the appropriate download upon SUBMIT. How can I do this easily within Pagelines/CSS?

I don't know how to do that through pagelines but I subscribe to a 3rd party Form service that allows form creation, embedding and re-directs (which is what I think you're after). Don't think naming 3rd parties here is appropriate so you can email me if ya like.
