Hi, Was trying to write some code in the theme editor, and unfortunately made an error and get the following message; "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ':', expecting ',' or ';' in /homepages/36/d315703125/htdocs/Elementary/wp-content/themes/platformpro/functions.php on line 19" Can anyone help please !! Thanks

yeah, I've seen this before because as a man with large fingers frequently break things. . The scorched earth method There are a few ways to fix it but one of the quickest that I have found is to revert the functions.php file back to default. Using your ftp or cpanel backend, replace the functions.php file. with the one from the platform zip file. Word of warning, All custom php coding added to this file will be lost using this method. hopefully this helps, Bev
