I purchased CS5 specifically because it is marketed as having the capability to "visually edit" css. I found the Lynda.com CS5 & WordPress 3.0 video tutorial and successfully built a local site. However, when it came time to publish live I ran into WP
install issues and I decided to scrap it and download WP
with Simple Scripts on my Remote Server(BlueHost).
When I established my new DW site, I successfully connected remotely to my new
However, when I closed DW for the day and came back, I have not been able to fully utilize the DW Live View/Inspect mode tools because all of the css, which is dynamically-related to the other wp
files, are not appearing on the pages that I'm trying to edit.
Usually, you would open the index.php file to live view the home page on the site, but in this case, all you see is the php code that tells WP
to gather all the file contents and to load the page(a server tech told me that).
I have searched the DW forum & WP
.org forum and sent out maydays and have not received any answers to what I'm experiencing and I would really like to get back to work!
It appears that I have forged fairly new waters here considering that the DW tool is somewhat new and most existing theme designers are hand-code literate.
I will be creating a tutorial when I found some solutions; so others will have more fluidity with their set up.
Thanks for forwarding this on!
