I have question about the forum and the website structure. I was looking to buy the forum for an add-on to complement my theme and concerned how a few pages will interact or should be structured. iBloogle is Running on Wordpress MU Primary domain: ibloogle.com Forum domain: forum.ibloogle.com Support domain???? support.ibloogle.com I plan to install bbpress which is your forum on forum.ibloogle.com. I want to have a similar site structure to wordpress.com and was thinking to do support.ibloogle.com, I could then have support.ibloogle.com/report-spam & support.ibloogle.com/TOS etc... Is it recommend from a structure standpoint to create a sub-domain and install wordpress on support.ibloogle.com, give it a new database and mimic the theme that's on ibloogle.com and forum.ibloogle.com. Forum.ibloogle will obviously be installed in its own directory and share a database with ibloogle.com. What are the advantages and disadvantages? I have a plugin on wpmu that I can create a "Page links to." Example ibloogle.com/forum is actually forum.ibloogle.com. Is this also OK for the support.ibloogle.com as far as indexing goes since it really just shows support.ibloogle.com? Thanks so much for all your help. Not sure, probably just navigation..

Page Links To is a powerful plugin for achieving navigation..

Is this also OK for the support.ibloogle.com as far as indexing goes since it really just shows support.ibloogle.com?

Should index (in search) just fine... but I would need to you clarify to answer this better.

Thanks, As far as installing wp on a subdomain for the support section is that ok or recommended? This way your running a separate database for the support & wordpress mu? I just thought of this... Could I create a subdomain on my wordpress mu account like any other new user and call it "support," so then your on one database and have access to all the same plugins? Whats your recommendation? When you install iblogpro forum is that installed on a separate database? Thanks for all your help! -Ken

Haven't tried it so I wouldn't know what the downside is, I would assume it would work just fine... can't you still use the same databases when in a subdomain?

Well you could have it on its own DB, it has its own "table prefix" and you add some info to sync it with your WP install.
