I've looked at the doc and cannot find the correct code to input into my custom css so I can soley change the color of my sidebar not my entire background. Have tried multiple times, all I've managed to do is turn the site white....... If anyone can give me the format to the code I can input the css color I cannot find the correct rule.

All I want to do is turn the primary sidebar white. I cannot find the correct rule that will allow for just this to happen.
