How can I limit the number of posts on the front page? Users aren't getting past the huge number of post snippets to get to the footer information. I'd like to have each page show five articles then display the footer.
I know I'm asking a lot of questions! Thank you for all your help!

This can be accomplished in the general WP settings, choose reading and change the number of posts to display it is set at 10 by default. This information can also be found in
