I tried changing the page names to user-friendly permalinks, however the inter-page links are all broken. How to do an automatic update across the site?

Hi Michael,
Have you made your changes at settings/Permalinks?

Hi
I'm also having the same problem. I changed the permalinks to
/%postnames%/ but now the post and comments link will not work.
Why is that? thanks

Also, how do I just have the links to pages in my footer but I don't want them to show up in the nav bar?

Could you guys provide a live link?
@pidgintalk
For this you will need to edit the footer.php file. There are a couple posts on this (with code) I'll try and dig them up..

Did you have a chance to dig the posts up with code for the footer?
