Hi, how do I make it so it's only on the first excerpt? It currently shows ads on the top three excerpts...i only want it on one.

Dave, what you're trying to do is actually going to violate the terms of service of Adsense which limits you to 3 AdSense ads per page (not including text ads within one ad group). Even though you don't see actual ads, Google is sensing there's more than 3 ad placements and essentially doing what they do... limiting you to 1 actually visible placement. Check with AdSense and you'll see that the maximum number of ads you may have on any page or post is 3.

@rangelone, thanks for the concern. I want to show only 1 ad. That is my question. How do I only who 1 ad in my excerpts on my homepage?
