Were releasing v2.4.1 of the framework, below are the highlights.

 

- NEW - Added section_on_ready() to section class ( wraps js in jQuery(document).ready(function() and loads into HEAD ).

- NEW - Enable HTML in popovers.

- NEW - Enable auto 'show' mode to modal popup.

- NEW - Added pl_is_section_active( $class ).

- NEW - New setup notifications.

- CORE - Update Bootstrap to latest 2.3.1.

- CORE - Update LESS compiler.

- CORE - Updated SHIV code and detection function.

- CORE - Removed unlisted font from typography.

- CORE - Whitespace cleanup.

- CORE - Added dailymotion to pl_video shortcode.

- Bugs - RTL CSS detection fixed.

- Bugs - Better googlefont URL code.

- Bugs - Fix small nextgen template issue.

- Bugs - Fix google graph backgrounds.

- Bugs - Fixed columns bug in wp-admin, props Evan.

- Bugs - Navbar: Added title/alt to fixed nav mode.

- Bugs - Features: Check aspect ratio is valid and numeric.

- Bugs - LESS: Fixed searchform line-height in IE9/10.

- Bugs - LESS: Remove square corners on dropdown hovers.

- Bugs - LESS: Fix features nobg mode.

- Bugs - LESS: Fixed nested ol/ul/li, props Mikey.

- Bugs - LESS: Callout selector and styling fixes.

- Bugs - LESS: Adminbar CSS fixes.

Just want to make sure before updating, since I had to adjust a core file.

You should consider a mobile theme for phones, nested comments look bad in most themes on mobile.

 

I use Jetpack as it has a great comment system with reply notification and a built in mobile theme. You can see it in action here: http://pross.org.uk/justcss/ (post with 50+ comments )

OMG. Countless incompatibilites with Buddypress and other user based plugins :-\ Took me hours to come back to 2.4

Hi Simon,

 

Please accept my humblest apologies: I was pacnick-stricken when posting here, noting most of my Buddypress (and plugins such as "User Switching" I use with it) features were down just after the upgrade.

 

It turns out it was obviously a spooky coincidence: I tested again and calmly my Buddypress configuration with PL 2.4 and 2.4.1 and there are actually no differences I can identify.

I do have a few questions about PL & Buddypress (1.6, 1.7 beta 1 and beta 2) and will open topics if necessary, but again they are clearly not related to this PL update.

You can delete my posts here if you wish: I don't want to needlessly perplex future readers of this thread !

Hi, I actually also have compatibility problems with BuddyPress. It breaks my css.
