Hi everyone,

 

I'm using Platform theme (not pro) and i would like the post navigation section to show posts only within the same category.

 

Is this possible? How?

It's possible, but you'd have to customize the code in one of the files somehow. This solution seems to have worked for another user: http://www.pagelines...ic-to-category/

So it seems i have to paste the code shown in the best answer.

 

But is it in this file?: themes > platform > sections > wp > section.postnav.php

 

And, in such a case, in what line?

Unfortunately, support for the free themes doesn't include customizations.  I'd suggest reviewing the old PlatformPro docs at http://www.pagelines.com/docs.  If you cannot find an answer there, it might be best to upgrade to a purchased version of PageLines Framework.
