Hi All, 

 

 Some time ago I upgraded from version lite to pro and it results that the pro version lack some of the functionality of its free version.

 

I can't find anywhere social share buttons ("if you like it please share..." buttons), and as a result I can't post any content on my fb fan page. Could you help me find some solution? I would appreciate it

Hello, 

 

Thank you both for suggestions. Unfortunately they didn't help. I attached screen shot of Site options and then button differences between two versions (I have one website still on lite version). Problem is that pro v buttons do not allow linking/posting the content on my fanpage, whereas lite version buttons do that perfectly. I would like to have them in pro version too. 

 

I admit I am new at this, so maybe I am not seeing something....  Thank you again for your help.

The share stuff in free version image is not from PageLines. Probably a plugin. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

 Well, I am not sure what to do. These buttons were there from the beginning, in fact it was one of the reasons I stayed with the theme. I am not using plugin for that.

 I attached settings for them (pagelines settings>blog and posts). Let me know if there is anything that can be done to have those in pro version.

The pro and free version are identical code wise. There is nothing missing. The free version has some features disabled. Are you sure it's the free 'pagelines' theme and not 'platform'? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Now we're getting somewhere. I checked, it is platform. I apologize, my mistake. Everywhere in settings it says "pagelines" so that's why I was confused. So to clarify - is there pro version of this theme then? When I upgraded I did it directly from the settings are, that's why I assumed I am getting same theme but enhanced. So what happend? And are you planning then add those buttons to pagelines? For a blog they are pretty indispensable And I can't find a plugin working as well as the buttons from the free v.

Hi Monika,

 

The Pro version of Platform is no longer available unfortunately and has been replaced with PageLines Framework. Anything that was possible in Platform Pro is possible in PageLines Framework. However, PageLines Framework has hundreds of more features and options available.

 

I have accepted Simons, answer as this answers your questions and resolves it.
