I have a question...
I have search on the pagelines forum, but i can't find my answer yet.
 
I would like to set up a custom 404 page for my website

This steps I allready take:
 
Step 1: In my back-end i follow this steps:
Pagelines > Themeplates > 404 > Drag & Drop Themplate setup > Drag the Content, and drop it to the 404 Error themeplate. Just like this printscreen:

So, i can't see where i can type my custom 404 text (content).
I also read the forum topic on pagelines:

. But after download the "zip" file, I don't know what to do with this file?
 
What also doen't work is change my .htaccess
Example Rule:
 
ErrorDocument 404 /wp/contact/
 
 
So my 404 page is now look like

The easiest way would be to use ContentBox. Please follow the instructions for ContentBox here:

unzip the file, and upload the folder to wp-content/plugins/pagelines-sections/ using an FTP client.

Another question. Can I get my "normal" page lay-out for the content box section?

 

There is now text in my 404 page ("Test), but in another lay-out.

What do you mean "normal" page lay-out for the content box section?   Apologies, but I may be misunderstanding your intent or question.

I found it myself.... i think! What I mean is: 

When you use the "Content Box section", you don't have your normal "design", but only your tekst, with no background, blocks and things like that.

 

I have add the follow html code, wich I random copied from my website html code.

<section id="postloop" class="copy section-postloop">

 

I add some text here, so it looks like this:

Are there any problems when use this html code? Is this the best solution?

I'm not sure you should use any class for the postloop in the content box. 

 

Your English is fine. I just didn't understand the context of your question.

It works for now. Maby an other option is better? 

 

Probably I can use the same html/css as another websitepage, so the page is in the same design? Where I can find this html/css? 

Now I use the postloop, because I automatic use this html/css. For an example
