I'd like to use the shortcode for a Facebook-like

I don't use Facebook personally, so Im not quite sure what you mean when you say suggested text ?

When you share a link on Facebook, you might add a text to tell why you are sharing it. I'd like to add an suggested text for users who share a page.

Are you referring to descriptions for pages shared on the Facebook feed?

No, not descriptions. That's taken from OpenGraph metainformation. I want the text that users add themselves. See picture.

 

Adding a suggested text there is possible, but I wondered whether the Like-button shortcode in Pagelines supported it.

I don't think this is possible, I am not actually the best person to answer this topic but everything that the social buttons shortcodes support is on our documentation page. Therefore, I don't think its supported, you will probably want to use a plugin from the Wordpress repository.
