Is there a way to make the header icons share... instead of going to profile pages?

 

eg... on posts ability to share post to facebook...

 

on header... it will go to a facebook profile instead...

You'll need to use a plugin (most likely a plugin widget that you can add to Universal Sidebar and you can activate Universal Sidebar in the Header in Drag & Drop).

I've done that before... its gets pretty messy adjusting everything else...

 

I've got this in my function file... but wanted the action to share not to go to a page.

The thing you're asking for requires custom code with various conditionals.  Effectively you're in need of code that says... If on this page, go here; if you're on that page, go there.

to develop that for you.  I don't know of any plugins that do this directly.  That said, there may be some I just don't know about.
