I have a new client who likes a fixed height content area like on

Notice how the text on the right scrolls within a fixed area.

 

Is this even possible in Pagelines? And, if so, is there a way to implement it so that it works across devices? (I know that's a tall order, and I am not expecting that it's even possible!)

Hi,

 

The site you showed as an example uses a proprietary javascript from that theme company to create the scrollable text.  There are several plugins, but most are outdated.  One recommended one is

Both seem to move the text vertically on an automated basis, rather than letting the user do this manually.

 

There may be some premium plugins out there, Another option might be to hire one of

Essentially, with the right coding, yes, it's possible.
