I have implemented "advanced menu" wordpress plugin, so that i can show only the product categories rather than the full menu.

 

The problem is - that i can't make the current item look different than the rest of thm (i want it to be bold),

so i think the "advanced menu" plugin may not be the one for this..

 

Is there a better way to implement a sidebar that only shows brother menus - in which i can make the current navigation with strong font?

I would imagine that in a text widget you could create an unordered list, manually adding each list item. Each <li> can have its own class, allowing you to place CSS specific to it, so that on hover, or in active state, you have unique effects.

 

Otherwise, you may just need a different plugin.  If this is the one you're using:
