I was curious if it was possible to display the salebar only on the homepage, right now I only see the hide option?
Pagelines Framework - Show Salebar Only On Homepage
Best Answer James B , 15 December 2012 - 03:27 AM
This should remove the container and move the navbar up
.pl-salebar-push {
display: none !important;}
.blog .pl-salebar-push {
display: block !important;}

Anthony,
We're really not supposed to provide CSS, but I can't see any way to explain this without writing a doctoral dissertation even I wouldn't understand, so here goes. Add this code to Custom Code > CSS Rules:
The top one displays, the bottom hides everywhere else.
If you have a static homepage with a page ID, replace .blog with .page-id-XX where the XX is the numeric page number.
See, I told you this was complex. lol.
Happy Coding!

If you have a cache plugin, leave the code in CSS rules, clear the plugin's cache.

Yeah I had done that of course, the problem is it simply hides the writing and color, but it doesn't remove the bar, just appears as white space

Now to just play with the bbPress and figure out how to hide the subforums and then its game on! Thanks James B & Rob for your help!

The simplest way to only show the Salebar on your homepage would be to use the SaleBar option Hide on which pages? and add the id's of the pages you wish the salebar not to be visible on.
