and the sites are working back to IE8.Posted 03 December 2012 - 03:57 PM
What exactly do you mean by 'they dont work'?
You should test your sites with browserstack

I do not understand because every time someone here challenge me. if I open a post saying that it is urgent and the sites dont go on ie i dont have hallucinations, and with me also my 5 customers and other people too, is cause i have real problem!
And after you will be surprised if a person loses his patience? But you do not realize that you treat him as if he were crazy?

Stefano,
You're really being a testa dura with this "Urgent" nonsense. This is not urgent. This is simply your own bad CSS coding for which you alone are responsible to resolve, not PageLines.
Please don't ask me for help off my schedule in Skype or by phone. I won't reply. I'm not allowed.
Now here's the solution to your bad coding. But if you mark one of these Urgent again, I'm going to issue a block to your account and you won't get forum support for 30 days. Am I clear?

Im not in America actually.
I was using browserstack
You can test on every browser on every operating system and all versions. You should try it.
BTW your screenshot is just a dropbox signup link.

I dont have IE, but if you load any of those sites in browserstack you will see they all work of course IE is going to look slightly different, its 3 different browsers they will all look different, but if your client insists on you making the site look the same across all browsers then its up to you to do that.
You should perhaps think about installing JING too, so you can easily post screenshots and make our life 100x easier instead of posting broken dropbox links.

Well your lucky the internet works at all on ie6

Stefano,
No one is saying people are prehistoric in Italy. If your client is using a deprecated, out of date browser, its his job to update it, not ours or yours. We've posted thousands of answers in this forum explaining that we support ONLY the current version of IE because the older ones were written before HTML5 and CSS3. Do you expect us to re-write the code going backwards?
Sorry, not for your clients or anyone else's would any developer write code going backwards. Even Microsoft stopped supporting IE6, IE7 and IE8. I doubt Ferrari is going to build a car based on technology from 1930.
You got the code. Implement it to fix the boxes and tell the client to update.
Finito!

No no is right Rob.. that's the support of the forum.. let me understand which can be the problem.. and i think like you.. it's me that i say that we are like Flinston in Italy
This is not America.. we are the best for pizza and spaghetti not technology.. i hate this but that's we i do what i do..
Thanks for reply and all.. and sorry if sometimes i go crazy;)
