Hey

 

Is there a way to set less variables in my theme from the admin panel.

for example - i Wish to let the user change the text color, I have a less variable - @text-color:#ffffff;  and I wish to let the user change that variable color.

 

What is the right approach for that ?

Hi there, no i'm afraid there's nothing built in to allow those settings to be set in an admin panel. You'd have to enter into the custom css or the base theme's style sheet.

 

That's a great idea for a plugin though, why not submit it here

Yes, you can do this in Custom CSS box, in PageLines admin, then just have your user change the variable.

Just be sure to namespace your vars (myColor, myColor2, etc). Do not use @red, @blue, etc as those are used in core.
