Also the posts are duplicating content when viewed. Is there a setting ive missed in pagelines ?

What kind of page content are you referring to? Sections like Boxes, Highlight, etc.?

 

Also, if the post content is duplicating, please check Site Options > Blog And Posts to make sure that Post Excerpts AND Full Post Content are NOT enabled at the same time. If they're enabled at the same time, the content will show twice.

All the posts are listed and I want to add page content above the posts.

If you'd just like to add text content above the posts, you can use the Content Box section (it can be activated in Drag & Drop and arranged above the PostLoop), which is available from the PageLines Store:
