Hi.
I've checked the site in IE9, Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera, as well as Safari, Opera and Firefox on my Android device and don't see any black lines at the top of the slider. I don't doubt you see it.
Can you snapshot this with Jing or other means and let us see this issue?

The line appears in Chrome but not in Firefox

Weird, haven't touched the site in a week and now the problem is gone. Thanks for taking the time to check - I can't explain it.
