We are moving LinksManager.com to Pagelines on Wordpress. So far so good but the features slider hesitates on load and the size isnt correct. After a few seconds of hesitation, it correctly sizes. Looks kinda awkward. Do I have a setting missing somewhere? It's happening in all browsers. You can see a screen shot of the wrong size/hesitation here:

Any suggestions for how to fix this problem?

Joel, are all the images the exact same size? Usually hesitancy is caused by the Framework trying to scale or resize the images to fit. If your images don't need sizing, it helps.

Additionally, making sure that the image link is in the Background, not the Media area of the Feature setting is important.

The images are exactly the same size 640x255. I got this size by opening up the browser window 100% (after making final decision on layout via pagelines>drag&drop).

so got around it by simply uploading the image via the background image link as you noted above. Thought that would work and it does - but the hesitating on load is unprofessional looking. Is it because there is a setting somewhere else that needs to be set to indicate the exact size of the features window?

Honestly Joel, I'm not seeing much hesitancy at all, if any. This could be your computer. We don't build in any latency or hesitancy into the transition that I know about. I'll surely ask our developers.

Just to eliminate that possibility, clear your browser cache and check the site in all your browsers and a few devices (if you have them). I'll attend to the other issue ass soon as possible.

The problem is being reported as you can see by the screenshot from a designer in Europe.  It's not related to a specific computer or browser type the problem is occuring in all browsers which leads me to believe I have a setting wrong.  I dont think its a pagelines bug I think its a user error.  Therefore please tell me which settings to check and where those settings are.

Go to the features setting, set the height to 285 where it says static height

Hey Simon,

I'm having a similar problem with several feature sliders that resize. My question is how did you figure which height would solve the problem?  I've tried several methods but none of them work.
