Hey guys! I am using the modal shortcode on a website but I am having an issue with the display on mobile devices. What happens is that when the modal opens on the iphone or ipad, it displays on the top of the screen, and not in the middle (as it does in the desktop). Since I have the buttons on the footer, when I click on them in my mobile devices, I gotta scroll back all the way up in order to see it. I tried to avoid using the modal in the mobile version but I cant think of a better solution. Any ideas?

Where in the footer did you apply the modal? Which widget did you apply it in?

I used it in the regular footer columns widget

Can you provide the following please.

What code for the modal are you using?
what version of Wordpress & PageLines are you using?

I have just this moment added a Modal using a text widget into the Footer Columns sidebar and then viewed my test site on my iphone, the modal loads correctly.

in a text widget inside the footer columns sidebar. I am using Wordpress 3.4.2 and Pagelines 2.3.6. I guess the latest patch made it work fine on iphone, but it is still not working on iPad.

If this is still happening on your setup, you might be able to use some browser css to correct this.
