I want to display different banners in the header, as a slide show, with transition effects.
How can i do that?

Hi there, really you'd need to make a new custom section for this.

The banner code is based on bootstrap, you'll be able to find the core code there. Once you'd written the php code and included the necessary files (js etc) you'd need to package it up as a new section which could be inserted into the framework.

Have you considered looking into joining the developer group? That would be the best way to get into developing custom sections
