Hi,

I'm having compatibility issues with Pagelines and two different lightbox plugins on two different sites. Both plugins give the same results.

The plugins are from the Wordpress Repository and are:

Lightbox 2
Lightbox Plus

Both behave in exactly the same way. When you go here and click an image in the post it opens in a lightbox, but it's always at the top of the page and doesn't turn the entire surrounding area dark around the image. If a user clicks an image at the bottom of a post, they have to scroll up to see it.

Scroll down and click the second image in the post.

The only add-ons to pagelines I'm using are crackbar and Latest Blog Entries both purchased from your store.

It used to be fine until I upgraded from platform pro to the new pagelines framework.

Any ideas what's going on?

Hi Justin,

Just so we can rule it out, disable all active plugins and see if this resolves the issue. If it doesn't the first thing you should do is contact the plugins author and ask them for assistance and to investigate the issue.

Hi Danny,

Just tried colorbox on our recommendation but it's doing exactly the same thing.
Also deactivated all active plugins and it still did it. So in my view the issue is Pagelines. Those lightbox plugins (the first two) have worked with every other theme I've used over the past couple of years. And they worked fine with Platform Pro... but not Pagelines... so in my view there's a common denominator here...

Therefore, you have either a plugin or custom code/script causing the issue.

Hi Danny.

I don't dispute it working there. Indeed it works for me on a short post.

Please can you put say 5 paragraphs of Lorem Ipsum in on your test post, then put at image in after the last paragraph.
Then view the post... scroll to the bottom and click the image there.

Does it work then? If it does, I stand corrected...

There, as to be something causing this on your site, plugin, custom code, script etc...

Ok ok... I admit defeat I ripped out a load of custom css... Something in there was doing it.
