I think I might have found the reason this isn't working for me. I had inadvertently used hyphens in the filenames of my page template, which I guess is not allowed, e.g.
page.staff-gallery.php
Anyway, if I remove the hyphens, e.g.
page.staffgallery.php
everything seems to be working.

I've created a new custom page template. When I try to add sections using the drag'n'drop interface, the changes aren't saved. I've tried in three different browsers with the same result. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Daniel

Which method are you using, by this I mean, are you using the PageLines Framework with the customisation plugin or the Base child theme ?
Have you tried disabling all non-PageLines plugins and see if this resolves the issue ?

Now that you mention it, I think I might be using both. I'm running the Base Theme AND I've got the customization plugin active. Is this a) a problem and b ) pointless?

Hey did you find why it won't save? I am having the same problem!
I desactivate all plugins, sections, themes and I still keep having the same problem to save the drag and drop section on the templates.

Are you using the latest version of Framework?

Hi,
I haven't had to deal with this in a while, but now I'm back with the same problem. I created a couple of new custom page templates, but I can't get the drag & drop template setup to save my templates.
I'm running version 2.4.

Can you disable all non-PageLines plugins and see if this resolves your issue. As I am unable to recreate the issue.

I have disabled all plugins, and the problem persists.

Can you provide a link to the site in question and also enable PageLines debug.
PageLines > Site Options > Advanced.

I am by no means an expert in server configuration but this may be the cause of your issue as on your debug information you have the following:

I have the same problem on my test setup, and the Pagelines debug output is:
