I have tried to update Pagelines framework from 2.3.4 to 2.3.5 twice and each time the update fails because of a broken theme.


Broken Themes

The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template. Name Description pagelines Stylesheet is missing.


I am using the base child theme.

After attempting the update. The Pagelines dashboard is missing and a default theme is used in its place.

The Pagelines-template folder is still fully intact but the Pagelines folder all I have are empty folders, no files.

I am running WP 3.4.2. Thoughts?

Your host has whacky file permissions that break the Wordpress upgrader you will have to download the Zip and FTP the files the old fashioned way
