Hi there,

A client of mine using PlatformBase1.3.1 is having problems with his twitterbar. At the moment it's just "No public Twitter messages." — CotsAcupuncture

The website is http://www.cotswold-acupuncture.co.uk/

He has updated evrrything in his website, and is not blocking public messages through his twitter account.

Thats a very old version of PlatformPro, so you should 1st try upgrading it.

Yes, i had the same problem after upgrading the twitter bar is showing correctly

Just to clarify...you were able to upgrade PlatformPro? Is the TwitterBar working? Sorry but I couldn't confirm from your last sentence whether the matter was resolved.

Hi, sorry for some reason I'm not getting email alerts from the forum so I had no idea anybody had replied.

I'll get him to upgrade though I'm worried that will create a lot of work fixing othert plugins....!

That's difficult to say due to the version, however to prevent this, always keep your sites to update.

Some users may experience “Unknown Twitter Error”, this is not related to PageLines but your server configuration. There are two reasons, why this error would appear, 1. Your server is configured to not allow outgoing http requests ( outgoing port 80 ). or Twitter are blocking incoming requests from your servers IP.
