Added drop-down menus for the main Nav. When a drop-down enabled menu is selected it changes to a light gray. All sub-menu items are washed out. Is there a way to disable the light gray or change the font so that it doesn't get all washed out?

The above URL has "Related Organizations" selected in the Main Nav menu, not only is Related Organizations washed out, but if it is selected all sub-menu items are washed out.

Also, most of the time, when you roll over the main topic in the menu to have it expand the sub-topics will disappear as you try to move your mouse to them. It appears to happen in Chrome.

You're using an out dated version of iBlogPro 5, please update to the latest version and this should resolve your issue.

Thanks, that fixed part of the problem. Still has the main menu item washed out when selected (sub-menu items are OK now) and still doesn't work very well when you try to roll-over the sub-menu items in Chrome, they disappear. Same problem in Firefox. Washed out in I.E., but since the iBlog update it's made my content area and menus BLUE. HELP.

The blue thing happened to my other site in I.E. as well. A bug in the theme? It's a gradient blue. I can't find where to change this in the theme?

Help!? It makes the content difficult to impossible to read...

Fixed. Had to move up to the latest Framework. Now I have to see if that broke anything. :/

Be really nice if the top-level menu (of a drop down option) wasn't light gray and wash it out. Looks bad. Other than that, the issues I was having are fixed after a brief panic mode.

Have you created your own custom menu or is your navigation menu populated by pages you have created ?

It's the 'Standard Nav Bar' off pages that are created in WP.

Can you create your own custom Menu and see if this resolves your issue.

I discovered this topic after creating my own for the same issue. I, too, am experiencing the "washed-out* primary menu after implementing the selection for a drop down navigation. I created a custom menu for testing but this did not resolve the issue.

Thanks for trying that. I hadn't got the chance to work with the custom menu. I know there's a new framework version out, but haven't had a chance to backup and do an install to see if that helps anything.

If you go to Dashboard > PageLines > Site Options > NavBar, you can change the color to one of five options.

The two tone effect is intended to give your menu a 3-D effect. Using Firebug (www.getfirebug.com) you can change the color codes, written in RGBA. CSS will allow you to edit the numeric values, thus changing the base color scheme you selected to something different, with or without the button effect. If the upper and lower sections are the same numbers exactly, the menu will have one solid color, provided you change the opacity as well.

Yeah, changing the options under NavBar and Fixed NavBar Theme didn't change the issue or the color.
