Each time I try to add a pic as a full page background, it seems to be stuck in the footer. Please advise how I can accomplish this? Thank you.

Hi there, are you adding the background image through the color control tab in Pagelines>Site Options?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'stuck in the footer'. If you could send us a screen shot so we can see what's happening.

I am using the PageLines theme v 1.2.9. I am trying to change the background just as you said. The pic is at the bottom only, partially across the 4 column footer area. It is not covering the body at all. Please advise.

This is my 1st WP site.

You should upgrade to the latest version of PageLines Framework (there were bug fixes and updates made since your version).

The Pagelines dashboard says no new updates are available. I am using the Lite edition. How do I get to the updates?

Also, is there a way to make the body sections transparant?

1.2.9 is the latest 'lite' version. You will get an update notice if/when an update is available.

I actually figured it out - set background do not repeat, supersize background.
