Hi Folks,
Is it possible to align content to a background image?
i.e.
Can the the content be 'fixed' so that it always remains the same pixel distance from the left of the browser window and therefore roughly corresponds to the background image? [I acknowledge that browsers can be set to re-size text]
or
Can the content and background image somehow 'locked together' so that text can be matched to a specific area on the background image?
Regards,
Pearse.

It's easier to "lock" content to the background image when it's centered. Will the site content be centered?

Hi Catrina, Thank you for your reply. The site content could possibly be centred. Pearse

Content should already be centered by default in the layout. Can you please send a link to your site?

Hi Catrina,
Link: www.sogrownow.com [Site is a bit of a mess at the moment!] It's just the homepage that I am concerned with for now and I have been tweaking it since contacting you. I presume I should be working with the horizontal position of the background image and the layout editor... but I would be delighted to hear any suggestions you may have.

I think it would be best to make sure that the background image is center aligned so that the content sits on top of it correctly. You can do this by going to Site Options > Color Control and selecting 50 from the Horizontal Position in Percent dropdown.

It looks like you need your page content to be more narrow so that it fits on the wooden block in the image. (Either that or you can resize the background image so that it's larger and re-upload it)
