Is there any way to fix the footer at the bottom of the browser?

I tried to change html,site and #footer CSS but without sucess. The footer is positioned above the bottom part of the browser. As I applied a background image it looks odd.

Any help will be appreciated.

Wada,

You'll need to resize the background image you're using to make sure that it fits the footer properly. Is this background a repeating background?

Hi Catrina,

I've changed the footer size to 61 pixels and set the background image to repeat (x and y). The thing is that using firebug I can see that the div footer is configured properly but the 'body' area opens an additional height below footer area.

Tried to set the margin-bottom to 0 px but did not worked too.
I am little bit lost about how to fix my footer to the bottom of any page without these extra pixels below it.

I hope you can help me and I will keep trying.
