Hi all,

I just installed PageLines on a wordpress site, and right off the bat the colors do not change even after saving my changes; layout options do not change after saving changes and even box sets show up weird. I installed Pagelines in a different site the other day and had none of these issues. Not using anything custom and no widgets or plugins yet. I uninstalled and then reinstalled WP and then the theme itself as well with the same results.

What could this be?

Hi Christine,

When you installed it a second time and it worked fine, was this site hosted by a different company to the first site?

Can you provide screenshots of these errors please.

The first time was on godaddy, and it works fine. The second was on iPower, which is the one not working. I could include screen shots, but I'm not sure how it would help? When I change colors in the color editor, the changes do not take place, and many other options. What specifically should I show in the screenshot?

If you have any active plugins, please deactivate them and check your site.

Yeah, I hadn't even gotten to any plugins like I had mentioned. I'm thinking it might be the server. I'm going to try installing it on another site on the same server and see if I have the same problems.

I went ahead and installed WP and PLs onto another site on iPower with the same issues. I'm on a live chat with one of their reps with no answers yet. He wants to know PLs server reqs.

I got no help from the rep. He indicated that they can only help with the WP installation, which is said was working. Pagelines however, isn't something he can help with. Things are a mess and I need to get these pages completed for clients

We cant help without a URL, the one you have provided in your profile is some flash site.

Sorry! The one in my profile is not the site in question, though it is also hosted through ipower and when I installed PageLines on there, it also didn't work. I uninstalled PLs, tried other themes which worked. I then uninstalled WP, installed PLs manually with no luck. It seems like PLs simply doesn't work in iPower unless someone else has another idea?? You can look at the url www.studio66photography.com/home to see that the layout isn't what I setup and that the content bg stays white when i make it black etc. I've always had great luck with many sites on iPower until this. It's making me sad becasue I really like PageLines!!!

The css is trying to load from http://www.studio66p...ss=1_1349397422 which redirects to your flash site? Do you have 2 sites in the same folder? Or is there something redirecting?

So this is some url redirect issue on your part.

I just found out about PL and downloaded the lite version to trial before getting the developers version but it doesn't seem to load the css.
All text is aligned left in Times font with no images except the PL logo.
I'm using MAMP pro to develop locally, never had a problem with a theme before so this is a mystery
When I click 'Customize' the theme in wordpress it tells me 'Sorry preview is disabled, enable PageLines Framework'

I used a clean install of WP with no plugins

Any ideas, am I being stupid and missing something basic?

Hi Embussy, could you start a new thread for the problems you're experiencing. Try flushing your permalinks and let us know if you're getting any error messages anywhere. Pagelines doesn't preview in the wordpress customize tab.
