Hi everyone!
How do I change the number of posts that appear on my category/archive/search pages? Also, how do I change the number of pages that show up from page 2 onward on the home page?
Right now our home page has 5 posts which is perfect. But when you click through subsequent pages I'd like there to be 10 posts per page.
I would also like all the category, archive, search, tag pages to also have 10 posts per page.
How would go about making a change like this?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
If you wish to control how many posts are displayed on category, archive and search pages, simply login to you Wordpress admin dashboard > Settings > Reading and change the value for the setting "Blog pages show at most", the default is set to 10.

Hi Danny,
Thanks for the reply but that suggestion would affect the 1st page of my home page which is something I don't want.
As I said in my question, I would like the 1st page of the home page to stay at 5 posts and then I'd like all subsequent pages to show 10 posts. In addition to that I also want to make the category/archive/search etc. pages to 10 posts per page.
Do you know how to make the change I described?
Thanks again

I don't know if it's possible to customize number of posts to display in subsequent pages, but for your special pages like category, archive, etc. you may want to try this plugin:
