(note: I think I had the 2 links backwards in the screenshot arrows, but you get the gist of it… --> and "Visit Authors Website -->" should have "Author's" (apostrophe S). And that shouldn't be a link anyways because it's a link to the current page we're already viewing. But if I dropped this section into another area of the site, better anchor text might be "Read Author's Other Content".

Hi,

The Visit Author's website appears to be bugged, as far as I was aware, it should be the link your provide on your user profile.

The Author image should probably go to your gravatar page imo.

If you could provide a list of features that you feel should be changed, I will add this to our tracker on your behalf, including the URL bug.

There should be an admin screen with options:
- avatar display on/off
- avatar link goes to ____ (options: gravatar profile, user's website url, etc.)
- if on page that link points to turn, display link? yes/no (so if I'm on author/username, don't show the link that goes to author/username)
and all link fields should have target options (blank, parent, etc.)

I think that's it. Any thoughts of your own?

Author link is fixed in 2.3.1
