Quickslider not working with Content...

If I hide the Content button section, then the Quickslider appears. but once I activate the Content button again, the Quickslider disappears. I'm anxious because this bug compromises the entire REASON I purchased this software: because I'm incredibly picky and want my site to look how I want.
Is it impossible to have both the Quickslider and Content active under Active Sections? Why? Is there any CSS I can enter to override this function?
My site is www.amyhoney.com.

I have just this moment added both a Quick Slider and a ContentBox to a test site -
Therefore, can you disable all non-PageLines plugins and see if this resolves the issue.

What I would like is an answer to WHY my Content subbox isn't showing up where the word "HOME" is.
And yes, I have done everything you showed already. If it had worked, I wouldn't be here.
These are my plugins: Akismet, Blogger Importer, Jetpack, Post Types Order, and Tweet Blender. I'm not going to disable them.
Why should I? That's not fair that I should be forced to disable some of the things I need just to get a stupid content box.

as an aside, your content IS inside the content area its showing asdfasd if you want the carousel etc to be in there too, then add them into the content area and not the standard template area.

I was only trying to help, if it offended you im truely sorry and i'll go back to my Sunday nothingness.

I DID do that. I did everything.
And I don't want to Carousel in the Content area, I want a recent blog post in the content area, so that when users visit the site, they can just scroll down to see a new post, and not go thru the hassle of clicking 'blog,' etc.

There is a plugin called special recent posts that provides a shortcode to throw into the page content area that can do what you want.

I tried that plugin, but it doesn't seem to work and I don't know why.
At this point I'm ready to throw my hands up. I've don everything, was up until the crack of dawn trying to figure it out, and I can't. I frustrated and angry that even though I dropped $100 for a program thats supposed to let me get what I want, it won't.
Also, why isn't my Quickslider showing when I make the Content area visible??
I don't want one or the other, I want both.

Understanding your frustration, but you must understand that deactivating plugins is a temporary condition we use for testing and respectfully, we need you to help us to help you.
Now if you've created a static homepage, even if you're adding Content to the template, the fact that it's called "home" will not yield recent posts on that page. If it's not a custom page, but just the default, then adding the Quickslider to the template won't necessarily show the slides. You still need to have the settings correct.
So, I'll give you instructions for both.
For a custom homepage, go to the page in question in edit mode and scroll to the PageLines Meta Settings. Click the tab found there for Quickslider. Please make sure each setting is properly set including transitions, selections, etc. Save your setting and save the page. Your slider is actually showing up on the page. It appears as the elongated shaded oval at the top, under the nav, just where you want it. However, it also appears not to be displaying the slides probably because its been set to an incorrect source or some other setting is wrong.
For a default homepage, you'd go to Dashboard > PageLines > Page Options and select Default. Click on the Quickslider tab. Set things up there. Here's a guide. Most people never read this stuff, but it's there to help
As for Special Recent Posts, I know it works, provided the proper shortcode is set up and this takes some time. It takes more than the 12 minutes between when Simon suggested it and when you replied saying it doesn't work. Special Recent Posts does not work on default homepages, only on static pages manually created.
Here's an example of how a properly set SRP shortcode looks.
You'd need to patiently read the instructions here: with particular emphasis on the very bottom of that page and the $args provided above. You'll see from my example and those $args that they correspond and produce results such as you'll see at
The shortcode is placed in the edit field of your page, if it's a custom page.
Thanks for your patience and cooperation as we work to resolve your issue with you.

I've very tech savvy and I learn quickly. I didn't just give up the first time and complain that it didn't work. I've tried everything. I disabled plugins, added the SRP shortcode, changed page templates from Default to Custom and back.
And it still doesn't work.
And truthfully, I ready to cry because it doesn't seem like anyone understands that.
What am I supposed to do? What am I doing wrong?
I'm ready to just give up and get my money back

Special Recent Posts does work otherwise we wouldn't recommend it to you. Therefore, can you provide screenshots of the following please:
- where you added the Special Recent Posts shortcode
- A screenshot of the Page Template and Content Area sections that are active pleae (this is under Drag and Drop - take a screenshot of the Page Template Sections and the Content Area active sections. Both these areas are part of the same template.
