I can't find the css selectors to change the box behind the links in the feature slider. It looks like it's .fexcerpt but it shows no background image or style. I really want to just have the link be a color which I did (and tried to fix the background with "none" but it didn't work):

The site has a "coming soon" front page set up so it won't let me give a live link, it just goes to the coming soon page... : (

Hey hop2us -

It sounds like you want to remove the background-color from behind the links (like "About Ian").

It looks like some CSS could be getting in from another one of your custom rules. The reason I say that is because the edit link for the feature also has that color behind it, which isn't a styling from the framework.

If you're inspecting your CSS for that link from Google Chrome (which is the best IMO) - at the top right of the event inspector, you can look under "Computed Style" and go to background-color to see the exact rule that is defining that color and where (make sure you are inspecting that link when you do this). Then you will see how you can change that rule or override it.
