I'd like to add some white space between the sidebar widgets to make it less cluttered. I thought I did it right but nothing changed. Where in the CSS should I change it or is there some code I can put into the Custom CSS area?

You can try add in
PageLines > Site Options > Custom Code > CSS Rules
It is advisable to learn how to do this on your own too.

I know where to add the CSS in as I have a lot of custom CSS going on. I tried changing the padding but nothing happened.
