The div.content-pad has a size of 980x282 px I think that the distance between the menu and the logo at the top is too far. But I cant seem to find the right way to change the size in the css. Hoping someone can help me. PS/ The site has just been started so its nowhere finished, just trying to get the look right.

You can try add in
PageLines > Site Options > Custom Code > CSS Rules

 #branding .content-pad {padding-bottom: 0px;}

You can change #px as you like
