Hi.
I am looking for a way to insert buttons that link to the sites' blogs, as well as an image that links also, in the space between the logo and the social icons. I have tried using the universal sidebar and widgets, but this is placed under or above the branding bar. I would like to put buttons either between the social icons (preferred), or directly under the social icons, in that same section or div.

Could someone please offer some help? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
To achieve this, you will need to use a hook. I have provided you with a link below which has a good example of how to do this:
To assist you, install the free plugin from the PageLines store called Action Map!

Hi thanks again.
I tried to use Action Map and this is what is displayed when I turn it on:

I don't think this is how its supposed to look? There is an error at the top of the screen.

Yes, that is the normal functionality of Action Map, when you activate it, it will display all the hooks available to do you.
From looking at your screenshot, you will most like want to use the "pagelines_branding_icons_end".
Below is an example, to get you started.
However, please keep in mind we can't design your site for you. If you do not understand hooks and require assistance with this, why not contact one of our Pros.

Can I use shortcodes in the html there? I tried using pl_[pl_buttongroup] and the brackets and shortcode text is showing on the page, as well as the buttons are very small and square. Are there CSS selectors to change for 'pagelines_branding_icons_end' and 'pagelines_branding_icons_start' areas to fit the buttons, and is there a way to hide the code on the page?
Thanks again!!

Hi,
Unfortunately, you can't use shortcodes in a hook.
Also, I'm quite sure what you mean when you say "CSS selectors to change 'pagelines_branding_icons_end' and 'pagelines_branding_icons_start'" can you go into more detail please.
