I am in the very early stages of building my blog and I want to put my picture of the sidebar in the text widget. Unfortunately, when I put the url I get from my media page, the picture doesn't appear. HELP!

the easiest way is to use the jetpack image (must have jetpack installed) option in your widgets area. then all you need to do is place the image widget in the appropriate sidebar. you will need to put the url for the image which you can copy from the image details when you navigate to it in the media library. hope this helps.

Hi tmhunter521 You can copy this in Text widget You change width and height as you like A simple way to do this (I use this way) You open a new post Upload the image in it and then go to the HTML editor and copy the code.
