My site isn't publicly visible at the moment. I have a question about how to move the menu to the left of the logo, right now it goes [logo] [social icons] then below that the menu full width. I'd like to be able to float the menu to the right of the logo if possible. I tried basic css but it wasn't really playing well, I figured i may have to unhook something.

If you check, there's a new Section in the Site Options. NavBar should allow you to move the menu to the left of the branding. I haven't used this yet. Nonetheless, here's the Wiki...

This is not the same, its for the fixed navbar, not the regular one..

Hi, Simply Replace the Branding Section with the BrandNav section, it basically has your logo and the menu aligned to the right.
