I updated to 2.2 and now the #'s "12345" appear after tagline when you hover over browser tab. Searched for a fix on the forum but nothing came up.

Check Dashboard > Settings > General and check the content of the Tagline. What does it show? Was it pasted there from another source? That's a WP setting we wouldn't touch.
Do you have any SEO plugins or any others that might affect that?

Hi rangelone,
Because you mentioned SEO plugins, I went into "Yoast WordPress SEO: Titles & Metas" and I saw where "12345" had been added in the tagline box for some unknown reason. Thanks for the quick response. Much appreciated!
