No mods need to worry about answering this one. Does anyone have a link to or a list of recommended power plugins that are supported? Wp has a lot of plugins but too many choices can sometimes be daunting. Thanks!

PageMash is great for page management.

Google XML Sitemaps is a necessity

TweetMe is good for auto posting to twitter... (there may be a better Twitter plugin by now)

Finally WP Unformatted is good to optionally remove WP's additional formatting when you use the HTML editing mode. Kind of an advanced one

What about for mass email or for newsletter type emails to subscribers? Also having some issues with bbPress integration if anyone knows where to point me. Logged in users from the WP site are not recognized at bbpress. Also been hit by spammers very quickly there. Askimet is turned on now though so maybe that will help.

For Emails I use Mailpress. Works for me with great looking HTML Emails. I find the front end "sign up form" very boring though and would love to hear of better suggestions Functionally, it does everything I need.

Mailpress sounds good and it is recommended here: http://garmahis.com/...dpress-plugins/ What about plugins for member management and login forms? An ideal solution would be something that controls membership level or privs and would have a widget with a customizable menu and avatar for members to view when logged in. I tried "Members" from Justin Tadlock but the logged in view does not allow for a link to the profile or admin. Moved back to "Meta Login"

Since the pulldown menu has problems with IE.
FlexiPages. You can create Compact page menu's.
